Essential Functions

  • Maintains a high rate of client retention through superior customer service, assisting assigned client base with all components related to payroll processing.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely preparation and submission of payrolls whether sumitted via the web, email, call-in/out or other methods.
  • Trains clients to use web site and on-line payroll system including electronic reports, general ledger interface and employee self-service.
  • Partners with sales team to meet and exceed customer expectations and requirements in regards to payroll as well as human resource products.
  • Handles high volume of correspondence by telephone, email and fax. 

Requirements

Requirements
  • Experience in payroll and customer service with high-volume data entry.  Service bureau experience helpful.
  • Execellent oral and written communication skills.  Good grammar a must.
  • Analytical skills for problem resolution and multi-tasking.
  • Basic knowledge of federal, state and local payroll tax withholding laws.
  • Familiarity with federal and state garnishment laws; payroll deductions such as benefit premiums, retirement plan contributions, etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Adaptable to shift priorities working under critical time constraints and deadlins, displaying multi-tasking skills.
  • Occasional overtime required.
